Dr. Peggy Bradford is the current President of Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois.  She previously served as the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs (Interim)/Chief Academic Officer of Westchester Community College, SUNY.

Dr. Gloria J. Gibson was appointed president by Northeastern Illinois University's Board of Trustees on March 15, 2018. Her three-year term began on June 1, 2018. Prior to coming to Northeastern, Gibson served as provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs at Morgan State University.

​

Kimberly Hollingsworth was appointed President of Olive Harvey Community College starting July 1st.  She is an East St. Louis native began her 24th year in higher education this academic year.

​

Dr. Sylvia M. Jenkins was appointed the fifth president of Moraine Valley Community College on July 1, 2012. Moraine Valley is the second largest community college in Illinois.

​

Zaldwaynaka Scott serves as the current President of Chicago State University.  She is a former federal prosecutor and a familiar figure in Illinois and Chicago politics - an unusual choice for a college president because her background involves no roles in university administration.

​

Dr. Lynette Stokes was approved by the Board of Trustees of South Suburban College as the President-elect with an effective date of October 1, 2018. Having worked in public service for over 18 years, Dr. Lynette Stokes has served as an advocate of youth in the child welfare system, taught elementary education, and worked for equal rights organizations.

​

Dr. Jamel Santa Cruze Wright is the first woman, as well as the first African American, to lead Eureka College in its 163-year history.  Dr. Wright has nearly two decades of
experience in higher education as an administrator and full-time
faculty member.
